Another five Covid-19 deaths announced, 146 lives lost to the virusA further five people have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry has said, with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 146.

A 77-year old man, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 10th of November, passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The second person was an 74-year old man who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 22nd of November and passed away yesterday at the Mater Dei Hospital.

The third person was an 80-year old man, who confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 22nd of November and passed away yesterday at the Mater Dei Hospital.

The fourth person was an 80-year old woman who was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on the 17th of November and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

A 91-year old woman was the fifth person to lose her life to the virus, she tested positive on the 26th of November and also passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.

The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
