Four women die with Covid-19, 210 lives now lost to the virus

Four women have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry said. with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 210.
The first aged 74, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 2nd of December and passed away on Christmas Day at Mater Dei Hospital.
The second was aged 80, who was confirmed positive for the virus 17th of December and passed away yesterday at St Thomas Hospital.
The third was aged 89, who tested positive for the virus on the 12th of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The fourth was aged 86, who tested positive for the virus on Christmas Day and passed away earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures “so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society” – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
