A 32 year motorcyclist was seriously injured when his bike was in in a collision with a van in Triq Gedrin, Victoria, Gozo

Police said that the accident happened at around 10.30am this morning. The van was being driven by a 40-year man from Gharb, while the motorcyclist is aged 32 and from Ghajnsielem.

The motorcyclist was given first aid at the scene and was taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
