Xaghra public consultation regarding masterplan for the locality

The Xaghra Local Council is organising two public consultation sessions for local residents regarding a masterplan that is being prepared for the locality.
The Council explained that this masterplan will be addressing among other matters, various problems related to traffic management in the locality and in particular Victory Square and Streets with names Knisja, Spiera, Bullara, 28 ta’ April 1688, Arcipriet Guzepp Diacono, Jannar, San Guzepp, Mannar u Ta’ Gorf.
The sessions will take place on Saturday, the 20th of February, at 10am and 4pm, in a venue to be announced closer to the date. They will be held in strict compliance with the Health Authorities directives to limit the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Council is encouraging residents to keep this date free so that they can participate in this consultation process, which, it said, will lead to a detailed masterplan on traffic management in the locality.
One should choose one session according to his/her preference. Booking opens with the Council on Monday, the 8th of February and closes on Thursday, the 18th of February.
