A woman was injured in a traffic accident earlier this morning in Ghajnsielem, Gozo.

Police said that the accident happened at around 7am in Mgarr Road, when, the woman, who was driving a a Kia Avella, collided with an Opel Astra being driven by a 34-year old man from Nadur.

The woman was taken to the Gozo General Hospital. At this time their is no information as to her condition, or that of the other driver involved.

Police investigations are ongoing.
