Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Rights Anton Refalo, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Gozo Affairs, a position previously held by Education Minister Justyne Caruana.

Writing on Facebook, Dr Refalo welcomed the appointment, saying that, “this is a very important Committee in the Parliamentary framework because it deals with all matters related to Gozo and which evaluates, analyses and verifies the legislation that relates in some way to the affairs of Gozo.”

He concluded by saying that, “together we will continue to work to make Gozo better for the good of Gozitans and for the good of our country.”
