The investiture of three new knights with the Confraternity of the Knights of St. Peter & St. Paul in Nadur has taken place during a ceremony on the feast of St. Paul’s Shipwreck on Malta.

The Grand Chapter held its investiture at the Office of the Confraternity in Nadur, Gozo, with limited guests because of the health restrictions due to the pandemic.

The ceremony was presided by Chevalier Joseph Louis Meilak with the assistance of Chevalier Carmel Saliba and Chevalier Eddie Vella.

The candidates Jean Paul Portelli, James Buttigieg and Matthias Mercieca took the oath of a knight “to serve God and His people,” following which they were presented with certificates.

A donation was also presented to Fr. Dr. Raymond Portelli to aid his mission in Peru.
