Restaurants, bars clubs and snack bars can remain open until 2am from Monday

Restaurants, bars, clubs and snack bars, as from Monday, the 28th of June, will be allowed to continue operating until 2:00am when permitted by the establishment’s license, Health Authorities have announced on Friday.
Establishments whose license requires them to close before 2:00am must close at the time set out in the same license.
This comes as the further relaxation of restrictive measures are advised by the Authorities
Also, as from Monday, sea transport will be allowed to operate with 65% of the number of passengers who are licensed to board. Waterparks will be allowed to operate again.
Contact sport for children under the age of 17 will be permitted again, with contact sport of all ages now able to continue. The same goes for fitness classes, which from Monday will be allowed to resume.

Also from Monday, visiting hours of the main wards in Mater Dei will increase. Visitors will be allowed to visit patients from 11:30am to 1:00pm and from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
Health Authorities went on to say that in view of the fact that the number of new Covid-19 cases has remained stable, the decision has been confirmed that as from Thursday, the 1st of July, everyone who has had both doses of the vaccine, 14 days elapsed since the last dose, and are is in possession of the vaccine certificate, will be able to go without a mask in open public places. This is as long as they are in groups of not more than two vaccinated people together.
Children under the age of 12 may remain unmasked as long as they are accompanied by a person vaccinated against Covid-19.
