A woman fell from a Gozo Channel ferry on Thursday evening during a crossing between the two islands.
Police said the incident happened at around 7.15pm. She was picked up from the sea by the crew of Transport Malta seacraft and transferred to Mater Dei hospital.
Her condition is not known at this time.
Police investigations are ongoing.
