Health Minister Chris Fearne has said that tomorrow morning he will be announcing changes to Malta travel restrictions – including quarantine protocols.

Dr Fearne, in a tweet on Tuesday, explained that the decision was made following this morning’s bi-weekly meeting with the Superintendent of Public Health Prof Charmaine Gauci.

Earlier today, the MUMN, in a statement, had appealed for the intervention of Prime Minister Robert Abela “to stop human suffering.”

The MUMN said in that it was “protesting on the approach being used by the Superintendent of Public Health Dr. Charmaine Gauci, that persons who live in Malta are being forced to quarantine in a hotel.”
