The Labour Party has obtained an absolute majority in the European Parliament Elections, according to a statement issued this afternoon by Labour Leader Dr Joseph Muscat.
With the counting already well underway it has also emerged that Malta is expected to once again have the highest voter turnout in the EU.
Malta is expected to once again be “Europe’s champion,” Head of the European Parliament office in Malta, Julian Vassallo said in a statement, referring to Malta’s 79% voter turnout for the European Parliamentary Elections held on Saturday.
The Maltese will never learn, Labour party never wanted Malta to join Europe, a big mistake if Labour r elected in next elections.
Yes Grace it would be terrible wouldn’t it if Labour were elected at the next election, especially when you consider how great a job GonziPN are doing!
Clearly the people have realised that Labour will do a better job if they get back into Government. Given the PN record so far they certainly can’t do any worse can they. Well done Labour and congratulations Joseph.
