A Heritage Malta event – led by Prof Timmy Gambin, Associate Professor of Maritime Archaeology in the University’s Classics & Archaeology Department, is being held at Il-Hagar Museum in Gozo.
This is an opportunity to really experience our unique underwater archaeology: through state of the art technology, participants will actually feel they are underwater exploring deep shipwrecks. They will be able to inspect both the ship remains and the sea life at these sites.
This event is on Saturday, the 20th of November and Heritage Malta personnel will be present to discuss any questions and comments. The 10am session will be repeated at 11am, but the audience is restricted to 24 at each session.
Those interested are encouraged to book early on events@heartofgozo.org.mt. There is no fee for participating in “Dive into History.”
il-Hagar Museum is located in St George’s Square, Victoria.
