As from today, the 1st of November, visiting hours for residents in nursing homes and in St. Vincent de Paul will be increasing for fully vaccinated visitors.

The Ministry for the Elderly explained that the hours will include one hour in the morning and four hours in the afternoon, according to the times established in each home.

Two visitors will be allowed to visit each resident, provided they are fully vaccinated.

Times and procedures for unvaccinated visitors will not be changing. The rest of the existing regulations will remain in force, the Ministry said.

In addition, the Ministry said that vaccinated employees will be able to work in more than one home.
