29 new Covid-19 cases were found overnight, and 16 recoveries. The authorities said that in the last 24 hours an 83-year old man has passed away while Covid-19 positive.

The number of Covid patients currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital is 10, including 4 in ITU.

There have been 462 deaths since the start of the pandemic. The number of active cases in Malta and Gozo is now 238.

Health Authorities said that the number of vaccines administered up until yesterday is 881,843 of which 54,267 are booster doses.
