The number of Covid-19 cases continue to rise, with 38 new cases found overnight, and 9 recoveries. The authorities said the number of Covid patients currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital is 14, including 4 in ITU.

There have been 462 deaths since the start of the pandemic. The number of active cases in Malta and Gozo is now 435.

Health Authorities said that the number of vaccines administered up until yesterday is 895,343 of which 64,797 are booster doses.
