The Archbishop’s Curia said that it would like to clarify that its protocols and guidelines for religious activities only concern what is held in churches and places used for religious worship.

In a statement, the Curia went on to explain that ”with regard to external religious celebrations such as festive processions, the Curia allows them to take place if, where and when, they are approved by the Health Authorities.’ This position was already announced by the Curia last May.

”As has been the case so far, the Church will remain in dialogue with the Health Authorities and other stakeholders such as the Ghaqda Nazzjonali Kazini tal-Band,” it said.
