Two men aged 63 and 76 have passed away in the past 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, Health Authorities have said.

There have been 83 new Covid-19 cases found overnight, and 28 recoveries were also recorded. This takes the number of active cases up to over 1000, at 1007.

The authorities also said that 13 Covid patients are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, including 2 in ITU.

There have been 466 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Health Authorities said that the number of vaccines administered up until yesterday is 939,732 of which 104,989 are booster doses.
