Vehicle registration plates lost and found in the streets following the storms will be handed to Transport Malta, it said.

Transport Malta will then contact the respective owners to collect the new plates from the Authority’s offices. In such circumstances, the Authority said that it will re issue the registration plates free of charge.

The Authority encouraged motorists to drive with care and attention especially during bad weather conditions.
