Authorities have said that an 88-year old man has passed away during the last 24-hours while Covid positive.
832 new Covid-19 cases have been found overnight, 572 were reported yesterday.
There are 83 Covid patients currently requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only one reported) including 5 in ITU.
Authorities said that there were 78 new recoveries recorded in the past 24 hours, this now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo up to 6,519. There have been 476 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
Health Authorities said that the number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 190,162.
How come there are no separate figures reported for Gozo anymore?
