Treasures of Gozo – is the title of a book which is being distributed to Year 6 and Year 7 children in Gozo schools.
This is being carried out through an initiative of the Dwejra Opportunity Fund and funded by the Ministry for Gozo.
Through this book, many students and their families now have the opportunity to learn about and visit 111 different places in Gozo, including many that are perhaps not so well known to the public but which certainly offer a wonderful experience.
Many of the places found in the book have been photographed for the first time. Treasures of Gozo is by Daniel Cilia, Godwin Vella and Joseph Bezzina.
Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri said that, this project is a step forward in encouraging our children to become more familiar with the unique features that the island of Gozo has to offer.
