Three people, 2 women aged 69 and 86 and a man aged 62, have passed away overnight while Covid positive, authorities have said.

There were 503 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 1,3017 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 10,754.

There are 102 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 3 who are in ITU.

Authorities said there have now been 504 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 303,033.
