The fourth round of the Gozo Motocross Association championship 2022-fuellledby Enemed, was dominated by an exciting display of racing by the riders of Class A.

Three riders in this class achieved the same number of points. Therefore, according to GMA regulations, Xuereb was given first place, David Dimech second, while Mario Cauchi was placed third.

Class B was just as challenging, with Biuren Grima achieving full points, Robert Spiteri finished second and Mark Camilleri came in third.

In Class C, John Attard achieved first place, William Sant came in second, while Matthew Buttigieg won third place.

Meanwhile, young rider Travis Borg won Class D, followed by Justin Borg, Antoni Said in his debut race came in third place.

Six young riders, Sheizyn Mercieca, Eli Grech, Matthias Sultana, Graig Piscopo, Trystn Theuma and Isaac Borg, who participated in the junior class where given a token each sponsored by Mr Alex Debono.

Trophies were awarded at the end of the races, supported by Mr Anthony Fenech, with Service with a smile on time, were awarded to the winners while championship points were collected.

Gozo Motocross Association advised that the fifth round of the Gozo Motocross Championship will take place on Sunday, the 6th of February 2022, at Ta’ Xhajma Track. Races start at 1:00pm.

The Association said that it encourages and welcomes new riders.
