Three men, aged 38, 82 and 90 and an 87-year old woman, have passed away in the last 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities have said.

There were 158 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 316 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo down to 2,393.

There are 84 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 5 who are in ITU.

There have been 569 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday have not been updated and is still showing 334,132.
