On the day that the date of the next general elections was announced by the Prime Minister for the 26th of March – Nationalist Party Leader Bernard Grech issued a message – This is the moment.

He said that,“this is our moment to give Malta a new page to move forward in peace and prosperity.” The theme of the campaign is – Mieghek. ghal Malta (With you. For Malta).

The Nationalist Party Leader announced that he will contesting both the fifth and eleventh districts in the general election. Meaning that he will be contesting against Robert Abela in the fifth district.

“I am here, at your service. Not because I want power, but because I want to serve the people of this unique country.

“My dream is simple. I want a country that is proud and believes in its people,” said the Nationalist Party Leader.

He stressed that, “we need to improve our reputation because only an esteemed country can attract the best jobs and give the best future to our children.”

Grech went on to say, “I want a country that encourages our people to become the best they can be … where both the most ambitious and the most vulnerable will be helped to achieve their goals.”

“I want a country that is known as a place where everyone enjoys living – where we understand what quality of life means, that of finding the right balance with the environment,” he said.

“Let no one tell you that this is impossible.” Grech added, “any achievement seems impossible until it is achieved.”

He stated, “don’t believe them when they tell you that politicians are all the same. I’m not perfect. Nor is the Nationalist Party perfect.”

He stressed the fact the “while others have abused your trust, stolen your money and broken Malta’s name, we have spent the last ten years listening to you and building the next vision for this country.”

“We have always been present whenever our country called us – to build long-term prosperity and ensure that no one is left behind,” said Grech.

“Once again, we are ready to give you the best version of ourselves. We have an excellent plan based on the needs of Malta and Gozo.’ The PN Leader added, “we have a team of energetic and competent people who are all in politics for the right reasons.”

Bernard Grech concluded by saying, “we are united for Malta. We are here for you. We are with you. We are with you for Malta. Be with us.”
