A 64-year old woman has passed away in the past 24 hours while Covid-19 positive, authorities said.

There were 121 new Covid-19 cases found overnight and 75 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo to 845.

There are 41 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital including 3 who are in ITU (figures for Gozo General Hospital have not been updated).

There have been 608 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 344,315.
