Prime Minister Robert Abela was back in Gozo again this weekend, this time at a political activity in Qala, where he pledged that a new Labour Government would carry out the Marsalforn breakwater project.
The Labour Leader highlighted the fact that “economic growth on Gozo is equal to that of Malta, while the unemployment rate in Gozo is seven times lower than during the Nationalist Government.” Adding that a new Labour Government would also continue to invest in Gozitan businesses.
Robert Abela spoke about the importance of connectivity in Gozo and mentioned the introduction of the fast ferry. He also said that it is the plan on the Labour Party to bring Gozo to climate neutrality first.
Dr Robert Abela concluded by appealing to young Gozitans “to make a decision on the future of Malta on election day.”
