The second edition of the ‘X’tixtieq issir la Tikber?’ competition has been launched by the Office of the Principal Permanent Secretary and follows on from the success of last year. It will be culminating in May’s Public Service Week.
This competition introduces primary school pupils, who are in the fourth, fifth and sixth years, to various careers offered by the Public Service.
The competition is open to all schools until Monday, the 11 of April at noon. Through this competition, children from an early age start thinking about their aspirations.
This year, children are invited to create drawings, writings, photographs or short videos by imagining what they would like to be when they grow up and what career in the Public Service they would wish to pursue.
Participants will then be invited to spend one day with a public officer in the career area of their choice.
Submissions will be displayed in a digital exhibition, showcasing each child’s work, as part of Public Service Week 2022.
There are superb prizes linked to this competition, including tablets, cameras and vouchers that can be used for family tickets at the National Aquarium and Heritage Malta online shop.
All details, including competition regulations, can be accessed on the Public Service Facebook page or www.publicservice.gov.mt
