Earth Hour Gozo has evolved into a festival of togetherness. Events continue this Friday with Chair Yoga (tailored for seniors), Earth Film Nights and more. Gozo Spacelab said that the programme is free of charge offered by the community.
Humanity Festival Gozo continues this weekend with a series of events that celebrate togetherness, community and the human spirit.
The festival includes Storytelling, Yoga for adults, seniors and children, Tai Chi, Nature Walks, Stargazing, a Teddy Bear Picnic, Gardening and more.
Earth Film Nights return with a new selection of documentaries about earth and nature and how we as humans can interact with them for sustenance and wellbeing, in a way that safeguards both our futures.
The programme runs until the 22nd of April. There’s a digital brochure available here: https://tinyurl.com/5cwp63sy and a more detailed listing and reservations form with venues etc at earthhourgozo.com or email hello@gozospacelab.com Please also see Facebook page
The first Earth Film Night on Friday 25th of March features David Attenborough in A Life on our Planet. In his legacy documentary Attenborough reflects on the changes he’s witnessed throughout his lifetime and reveals how together we can address the biggest challenges facing life on our planet.
One of the highlights of the festival is a Community Campfire in the pjazza of Gharb in collaboration with Gharb Local Council. A bonfire will be lit up in the main square and everyone is invited to gather round, enjoy live music, food and camaraderie.
