The third batch of eco-bikes have been distributed by the Gharb Local Council to teenagers within the community.

The Council explained that this initiative was first taken in 2019, then again in March last year This time seven bikes were given, with another four to be distributed in the coming days.

We will continue to invest and introduce more electric vehicles, which are non-polluting, the Council said.

Gharb Mayor David Apap Agius stressed that, “we will also continue to invest in the youth, the environment and above all our health.”
