Summer in Gozo – 160 free events across the island

The ‘Summer in Gozo’ programme has been launched by the Ministry for Gozo, with 160 free of charge activities organised by the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the same Ministry.
Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri, explained at the launch that, apart from working on an advertising campaign abroad over the past months, “we felt the need to organise an ambitious programme of cultural activities that will be spread to every corner of Gozo. These activities range from concerts, commemorative events, festivals and exhibition among others.”
He mentioned that the events, which were organised in coordination with local councils, will see the participation of local and international artists and give an economic boost to the country,”
“Through these activities the squares in the heart of our villages can be enjoyed by the people who like to attend and will be closed to traffic during the weekend,” said the Minister for Gozo.
