A 56-year old man from was grievously injured after falling from a parked truck in Qala.

Police said that the incident happened at around 6.30pm on Monday evening in Bishop Mikiel Buttigieg Square.

The man, who is from Qala, was given assistance at the scene by a medical team before being taken to the Gozo General Hospital, where he was later certified to have sustained grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
