Sadly, Gozo’s Azure Window has failed to reach the final round of the New 7 Wonders of Nature competition.
The judges of the competition had to choose 28 sites from a total of 77 which had been shortlisted and unfortunately the Azure Window at Dwerja was not amongst those chosen.
The 28 finalists which were chosen will now be subject to another worldwide round of voting, with the final winners being announced in 2011.
