The fast ferry service schedule between Gozo and Malta is to be extended starting from this Wednesday.
Both ferry companies have now announced their new schedule which can be found below.
The updated service by the fast ferry companies was announced on Facebook by Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri and Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia.
The Gozo Minister said, “we listened, we discussed and we acted.”
They said, “we believe that the Fast Ferry service between Mgarr and Valletta is a social obligation towards the residents of the two islands, especially for the people of Gozo.”
“The Ministers explained that, “until the Public Service Obligation case is decided by the European Commission, and so that this service does not stop, the Government will be offering it with a schedule that is intended to serve primarily Gozitan workers and students, as well as all those who will be using this service for one purpose or another.”
“Now we look forward to the final decision of the European Commission,” the Minister said.
