The Gozo AFM Band Concert for Charity, is taking place this Friday the 26th of May, at the Gozo Cathedral, starting at 8pm.
The concert, organised by the Victoria Local Council in collaboration with the JP2 Cultural Foundation, was originally due to be held first in January and then in February, but both dates unfortunately had to be postponed.
The AFM Band will be under the music direction of Captain Jonathan Borg AFM.
The concert is free of charge, however a monitory collection will take place and part of it will go in aid of Dar tal-Providenza.
The event is also marking the 33rd anniversary from the visit to Gozo of Pope Saint John Paul II, which took place on the 26th of May, 1990.
