The beautiful hilltop village of Xaghra will be once again be hosting the Fig Festival – the 11th edition.

This village, is synonymous with the festival and Victory Square will be the setting for a celebration of figs and culinary talent – combined with musical entertainment for all ages.

Organised by the Xaghra Local Council, with the support of the Ministry for Gozo and EcoGozo, the festival gets underway from 7pm onwards, on Saturday, the 24th of June.

There will be musical accompaniment by George Curmi Il-Puse, folk dances, as well as children’s entertainment to name but a few…..

Admission to the event is free of charge.
