Last Saturday, Ted Attard, a professional photographer from Marsalforn, was awarded first prize in a photography exhibition with his entry ‘Festa San Gorg.’
It was an open competition called ‘Tourism Through Diversity.’ Each entrant had to submit one or more 12″ x 16″ photograph, with a maximum of four entries. There were two categories, one colour and the other one black and white.
Forty pictures were chosen for the exhibition at the Malta Tourism Authority offices. All four of Mr Attards photographs that were submitted were selected for the exhibition. ‘Festa San Gorg’ was chosen in first place for the colour section.
Dr De Marco, Secretary for tourism, awarded the prizes to the winners of the competition.
