Following the removal over the weekend of two Arnold Cassola campaign banners in Gozo, the MEP candidate has reported that ‘Vote Arnold Cassola banners have once again been vandalised in Gozo on Monday.

In a statement Cassola said that less than an hour after volunteers had replaced banners which had been stolen over the last few days, ”unknown vandals destroyed the new banners by ripping them with a knife.”

A police report has been filed once again with Gozo Police.

Cassola stated, “I must thank the many people, including Gozitans, who have expressed their solidarity with me on this issue.”

Commenting , Arnold Cassola said, ”these continuous attempts to silence my voice will not work. I am committed to continue passing on my positive message in favour of residents and the environment while challenging the arrogance of bullies and cowards who are destroying our country. I am confident that the electorate will send a strong message to these bullies on the 8th of June.”
