In the spirit of Mother’s Day, this Sunday’s ‘Serenade for Strings’ concert in Ghajnsielem will present a diverse selection of music with romantic overtones.

The repertoire for the evening will include works by Mozart, Dvorak, Piazzolla and Attard will be performed, including Mozart’s beloved Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (Serenade No. 13 for strings in G major, K. 525) as well as a lesser-known Serenade for Strings composed by Norman Leyden.Under the musical direction of Pierre Louis Attard, Serenade for Strings forms part of the Spring Time in Gozo programme and will be held on Sunday, the 12th of May, at St. Anthony of Padua Church in G?ajnsielem, starting at 7.45pm.

Entrance is free of charge and everyone is warmly invited to attend.

This concert is supported by the Gozo Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo and Planning as well as the G?ajnsielem Local Council.
