The embellishment project which was carried out on the reservoir/open space in Triq il-Kbira in Xewkija has been inaugurated by Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri.

This project was financed through a scheme from the Gozo Region, with the collaboration of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Xewkija Local Council.

The project included new paving, new lighting system, restoration of benches, as well as the planting of new trees.

“Through this project, the residents of Xewkija can enjoy this open space. This project is an example of how we can continue to beautify our villages even with small projects around the locality,” said Minister Camilleri

Mayor of Xewkija Hubert Saliba thanked the Ministry for Gozo and Planning and the Gozo Region for their support and everyone who worked and helped so that this project could be completed.
