The localities of Gharb, Xewkija and Kercem in Gozo have each created a Children’s Local Council. An initiative which is supported by the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society.
The children met with their respective Mayors and Councillors and had the opportunity to discuss matters and propose new ideas and projects related to their communities, the environment and seas.
