204,000 tourists visited Gozo in October and over 1.8 million in first 10 months

According to latest data from the National Statistics Office, 203,950 tourists visited Gozo during October, this was 57.4% of total tourists (355,561).
The total number of tourists visiting Gozo for the first ten months of the year, including both same-day and overnight visitors, totalled 1,831,807, or 58.9% of total tourists (3,108,352).
On a national basis, total inbound tourists for October were estimated at 355,561, an increase of 13.2% when compared to the corresponding month in 2023.
British, Italian and German residents made up 43.5% of total inbound tourists, the NSO said.
Total nights spent amounted to 2,216,919, and total expenditure almost reached €356.5 million.
The largest share of guest nights (87.1%) was spent in rented accommodation establishments.
The NSO noted that inbound tourists for the first ten months of this year amounted to 3,108,352, while total nights spent almost reached 20.0 million.
Total tourism expenditure for the period January-October was estimated at €2.9 billion, while expenditure per capita stood at €936.
