The fourth edition of the ‘Fireworks and Gastronomy Festival’ has been launched by the Munxar local Council, taking place next Friday, the 25th of April, from 7.30pm onwards in Triq L-Isqawi, Munxar.

Present for the launch was the Mayor of Munxar Mr Damien Spiteri together with members of the Local Council. Also present were Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Alison Zerafa Civelli.

The Mayor of Munxar, Mr Damien Spiteri, explained how this festival includes an artistic and cultural element with the involvement of a number of local artists, fireworks synchronised to music, as well as typical Maltese food.

The show will include musical performances by Versatile Brass Band, StraitAhead and BrassTubes Band along with singers Janvil, Jolene Samhan and Sarah Bonnici.

In addition to the musical performances, there will be a fireworks show synchronised to music with the participation of the Kamra Tan-Nar Madonna tah-Cintura, Gudja. The event will be presented by Ron Briffa.

This festival is organised by the Munxar Local Council with the financial assistance of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government and the support of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning.

Everyone is invited to attend.
