Data released by the National Statistics Office today show that registered full-time employment totalled 291,474 in December 2024, an increase of 3.5% over December 2023.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 35,204, an increase of 5.7% when compared to the same period in 2023.

Private sector full-time employment went up by 3.5% over a period of one year reaching 237,945.

The NSO noted that public sector full-time employment increased by 3.3% since December 2023 totalling 53,529.

As compared to December 2023, full-time employment for males went up by 2.9% amounting to 175,994, while that for females increased by 4.3% reaching 115,480.
