The Gozo Dream Racing Team will be participating in the Aegean 600 – a 600 nautical mile race, starting on the 6th of July in Greece.
For the third consecutive year the Ministry for Gozo and Planning said that it is supporting this team, with the Visit Gozo logo set to be seen on the main sail during high-level international competitions.
The majority of the Gozo Dream crew live in Gozo and the team is made up of:
* Skipper: Noel Grech;
* Co-Skippers: James Pave and Claudio Bugeja;
* Crew: Christopher Tabone, Matthew Grech, Mark Muscat, Jean Pierre Grech, Philippe Farchy and Paolo Farrugia.
Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri stated that, “this will be the first Gozitan boat to venture beyond our waters to participate in this race that offers a challenge to all who participate in it. We look forward to discussing the possibility of the Gozo Dream Yacht Racing Team continuing to represent Gozo in more international races, especially in the prestigious Mediterranean competitions.”
Minister for Gozo and Planning Clint Camilleri concluded by congratulating the Gozo Dream Yacht Racing team and wishing them every success for The Aegean 600 race.
