Special bus services, including one for those travelling onwards to Gozo, are being organised for the Ultimate 80s – by the BBC Concert Orchestra taking place on the 5th July, at the Granaries in Floriana.

Malta Public Transport said that in order to provide a more convenient transport option to the general public additional public transport options will be available at the end of the concert, with extra buses departing from Valletta from 23:30 onwards.

For those travelling onwards to Gozo the service will be the – S41 at 23:45: Coast Road, St Paul’s Bay, Mellieha and Cirkewwa

Other available extra services will run along the following routes and destinations:

S10 23:35: Paola, Isla, Bormla and Kalkara

S12 23:40, 23:55 and 00:15: Msida, St Julian’s, Pembroke, Bahar ic-Cag?aq, Qawra and Bugibba

S13 23:35, 23:45, 23:55, 00:05, 00:15 and 00:25: Msida, Gzira, Sliema and St Julian’s

S20 23:45: Msida, Argens, San Gwann and Gharghur

S40 23:30: Birkirkara Valley Road, Lija/Balzan, Technopark, Vjal l-Indipendenza (Mosta), Mgarr and Manikata

S42 23:45: Birkirkara Valley Road, Mosta and Zokrija

S47 23:35: Msida, Birkirkara Bypass, Lija/Balzan, Iklin, Naxxar, Mosta Sta Margerita, Targa and Mosta Centre

S51 23:30: Fleur de Lys, Rabat and Mtarfa

S52 23:45: Fleur de Lys, Rabat and Dingli

S61 23:40: Hamrun, Qormi, Zebbug (Sciortino) and Kandlora

S62 23:50: Hamrun, Qormi Bypass and Siggiewi

S71 23:45: Luqa (inside), Kirkop, Safi and Zurrieq

S72 23:35: Luqa (outside), Kirkop, Mqabba and Qrendi

S80 23:45: Santa Lucija, Gudja, Ghaxaq, Birzebbuga and Tal-Papa

S85 23:35: Tarxien (Palm Street), Bulebel, Zejtun, Montebello and Marsaxlokk

S90 23:40: Paola, Fgura and Marsaskala

S94 23:35: Paola, Fgura, Zabbar and Xghajra

Regular night services will continue to operate as per schedule.

Malta Public Transport advised that all Tallinja Card holders can enjoy the BBC Concert with free travel on these special service trips as well as the regular night trips.

Passengers without a valid Tallinja Card can purchase tickets for €3 per passenger from the bus ticket machines. Customers are encouraged to check Malta Public Transport’s website and social media platforms for updates on the service.
