The Planning Authority is offering a series of different architecture and heritage planning tours, including in Gozo.

In Gozo, there will be a tour in March of the Cittadella in Victoria. This tour was first held in November and proved to be a great success.

The imposing Cittadella oeverlooks Victoria, a fortified hilltop settlement that has stood for centuries as the island’s stronghold. Within its walls, visitors find a maze of historic buildings, bastions, and churches, along with panoramic views across Gozo’s countryside and coastline.

The Authority said that the Cittadella is both a cultural landmark and a reminder of the island’s resilience, preserving its medieval spirit while welcoming visitors to step back in time.

This tour will be held on the 22nd March, participants should meet in front of the Cittadella Gate at 9am.
