Following the recent announcement of the new Cabinet of Ministers, the President, Executive Secretary and member Mayors of the Gozo Regional Council (Regjun Ghawdex) extended their congratulations to the newly appointed Minister for Local Government and Public Works, Alison Zerafa Civelli and the Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri.

The RGC said that regional government plays a crucial role in safeguarding the distinct identity, heritage, and unique operational needs of our islands. ”The Gozo Regional Council looks forward to establishing a close, productive working relationship with the new Ministries.”

It concluded by saying that ”we remain committed to executing public functions effectively, ensuring our local communities and regional infrastructure thrive through collaborative governance.”
