The Gozo Philatelic Society has announced the issue of the third in the project of personalised stamps on illustrated covers featuring Gozo’s Chapels and small churches.
This third cover (being produced in alphabetical order) has the building dedicated to St Anthony of Padua run by Rev Anthony Schembri in Marsalforn.
Each card shows the front of the building, with an internal shot on the stamp. The information on the back includes further detail.
The postal cancellation was given at the Zebbug sub post office. Subscribers will be receiving their copy later, the GPS said that those interested in a subscription for the whole collection (designed by GPS President Anthony “Toni” Grech) are invited to write to stamps.gozo@gmail.com.
