Discover Dwejra – From Sea to Plate, is an environmental event being organised next month by the Ministry for Energy, Environment and Regeneration of the Grand Harbour, in collaboration with Servizzi Ewropej f’Malta,

Being held as part of the Saving Our Blue Campaign, the public is invited to discover one of Gozo’s most iconic Natura 2000 coastal sites, exploring Dwejra’s unique natural beauty, geological features and rich cultural heritage.

The event highlights how marine conservation, environmental awareness and sustainable practices are closely linked to protecting our seas and coastlines, with the support of EU-funded initiatives.

The programme includes marine awareness sessions at the Dwejra Marine Environmental Education Hub, virtual reality (VR) underwater experiences, boat tours through the Inland Sea, a guided visit to the historic Dwejra Tower, and a live sustainable cooking demonstration.

Bringing together nature, heritage and responsible consumption, the event aims to highlight how everyday choices can help protect the environment.

This event is taking place on Saturday, the 25th of July, between 8.30am and 1pm. Participation is free of charge; however, registration is kindly requested.
