Registered full-time employment up 4.7% in March

Registered full-time employmentToday’s data from the National Statistics Office show that registered full-time employment totalled 307,783 in March, an increase of 4.7% over the same month in 2025 and by 0.5% on the previous month.

Part-time as a primary job amounted to 36,844, an increase of 7.3% when compared to the same period in 2025 and by 1.0% on the previous month.

The NSO noted that private sector full-time employment went up by 4.8% over a period of one year reaching 251,693 and by 0.5% when compared to the previous month.

Public sector full-time employment increased by 3.9% since March 2025, totalling 56,090 and by 0.2% compared to the previous month.

As compared to March 2025, the NSO said that full-time employment for both males and females went up by 4.7% amounting to 185,193 and 122,590 respectively. Full-time employment for males and females increased by 0.4% and 0.5% respectively on the previous month
